Northern Biscuit's 2024 Event Highlights: Celebrating Dogs, Giving Back, and Spreading Joy
At Northern Biscuit, we’re all about making life a treat for pets and their parents. This year, we were proud to sponsor events that brought communities together, celebrated our four-legged friends, and supported important causes. Let’s take a look back at some of the incredible moments from 2024!
Running Wild in Kelowna 🏃♂️🐾
2024 Wild One Run, Kelowna BC, Bosley's Kelowna sponsored event.
September saw us hitting the trails as the treat sponsor of Bosley's Kelowna, for their help at the Kelowna Wild Run. Participants of the 5km and 10km runs were treated with a Northern doggy bags, packed with treats to fuel hungry pups and celebrate their post-run victories. At the event, more than 70 dogs enjoyed Northern Biscuit's Pumpk'n Spice recipe! Whether sprinting to the finish or walking at their own pace, these pups put their zoomies to the test and showed off why running with your dog is the very best!

A Spook-tacular Halloween Pet Party 🎃
2024 Winners of the Halloween Pet Party costume contest.
Halloween was all treats at the PetValu Atholville Halloween Pet Party! With 285 pets in attendance, this event was a howling good time. Their photo booth captured furry friends in their festive costumes, while a costume contest crowned the spookiest and cutest winners. Each attendee received a Northern Biscuit trick-or-treat bag filled with Northern Biscuit's Horror Harvest Biscuits, ensuring every pup left with a wagging tail during this very sp00ky event!

Pet-Oberfest: Treats, Tail Wags, and Giving Back 🍺
Northern Biscuit proudly sponsored the Ontario SPCA’s Pet-Oberfest, an event raising over $12,000 for animals in need. We handed out 200+ doggy bags filled with our festive favorites—Craft Beer Biscuits and Poutine Biscuits—to delighted pups. In addition, we donated 12 bags of treats to the Barrie Animal Center to ensure even more dogs were cared for and celebrated.

Santa Paws Comes to Town 🎅
The holiday spirit was in full swing at PetValu Collingwood's Santa Parade, where 200+ pups shared their holiday wishes with Santa. Visitors received a bag of Northern Biscuit's Naughty or Nice Biscuits, the perfect stocking stuffer for furry family members. Whether "naughty", "nice", or a little of both, every dog was treated like the little angel they are!

December Dog Wash: Pampering for Pups 🛁
December is ALL about festive grooming! At Bosley's Peachland and Okanagan Lake's December Dog Wash, pups received complimentary samples of Northern Softies, while their owners enjoyed AMAZING discounts. Clean dogs and happy tummies—what could be better for the holiday season?
